Hi everyone, I am currently a high school senior very stressed about college. I am white, middle class(will pay full tuition anywhere), military kid, not a first-gen or legacy anywhere, both parents went to college. I have a 3.81/4.47 GPA, 1490 SAT (710 ERW / 780 M), okay EC's (Started my own business reselling shoes and clothes, DECA member, Captain of swim team 10,11,12, lots of volunteer work coaching kids on my swim team, 2 summer jobs with leadership positions (head lifeguard/head host)), rigorous course load, AP's - Euro(3),APUSH(5),Calc BC(4), Physics 1 and 2(no exam), AP stat(senior year), AP Gov (senior year), AP Econ (senior year, micro and macro) and DE English 1 and 2 with my local community college. National Merit Commended, 8/10 essays / LOR

Demographics: Female, Korean, attended a private school in Florida for 9th and 10th grade, currently attending a very competitive international school (American curriculum) in South Korea (for 11th and 12th grade), upper middle class, Korean citizenship, Cornell legacy (brother)
Intended major: for Cornell, I'm applying to school of hotel administration. for all other schools, business.
SAT: 1510 (first try; RW: 720 math: 790). I'm gonna take again in august tho
SAT II: didn't get to take it yet but I'm planning on doing math and us history
UW/W GPA and Rank: so my school won't officially tell me but
for 9th and 10th grades, I had 4.0 UW gpa (the weighted isn't shown on the transcript for some reason? but I had all As in all my honors and AP classes)
for 11th grade, I had a 4.31 weighted gpa and it my UW is 4.0 bc I had all As according to the American standard (btw my school's gpa calculating system is abnormal bc it's so competitive; like a 93 is counted as a B+)

Queste poche pagine furono rinvenute nei sotterranei della fiorente biblioteca di Terranova dei Passerini. Esse appartengono ad un codice manoscritto intitolato Coronache.
Dagli studi eseguiti dall'esimio Prof. Brusaferro VIII, si è potuto ricostruire un contesto storico per il seguente codice. Era l'anno 2020, quello che per gli storici divenne noto come anno senza grigliata. Subito prima della rivoluzione degli equilibri geopolitici mondiali (con l'ascesa al potere dell' Imperatore Sergio I di Mattarella), il mondo stava combattendo una guerra feroce contro un nemico invisibile, ma insidioso.
In Italia, in particolare, il conflitto era aspro, e infuriava senza dare tregua. Nell'ombra dell'ora più buia, sotto l'egida del Conte Conte, Chad Maximo, il popolo Italiano aveva trovato una sua identità. Lo slogan, parola che deriva dal gaelico sluagh-ghairm, grido di battaglia, era "Im 'moratur in domum suam"[1]. Eppure, per quanto mai unito in quella che il General Feldmaresciallo Borrelli definì come la Resistenza, il popolo era variegato. I partigiani formavano fazioni, più o meno definite, si creavano alleanze e inimicizie. E come sempre, alcuni di essi erano, purtroppo, doppiogiochisti venduti al nemico.
Di seguito vengono quindi delineati questi schieramenti, queste tipologie di guerriero che definirono e combatterono nella suddetta guerra.
La lista, fa notare il Prof. Brusaferro VIII, è incompleta. Lo studio della Guerra è ancora agli inizi.
Il testo qui riportato presenta in calce un appunto miniato, che riporta la frase iscritta sull'epitaffio del Conte Conte. "Rimaniamo distanti oggi per abbracciarci con più calore, per correre più veloci domani. Tutti insieme ce la faremo". Nota il professor Brusaferro VIII come il temuto Secondo Picco fu evitato a malapena dopo gli eventi del Grande Abbraccio con Più Calore.
[1] Lo slogan qui riportato sembra essere una traduzione latina eseguita con Google Translate in tempi successivi allo svolgimento della guerra. Lo storico Burioni Jr., nelle sue memorie, riporta come le ultime parole del suo anziano trisnonno furono "bisogna restare a casa" e ipotizza come queste due frasi siano in qualche modo collegate.

Sommario:
La legge di castità della Chiesa di Gesù Cristo dei Santi degli Ultimi Giorni (Chiesa LDS) afferma che "i rapporti sessuali sono appropriati solo tra un uomo e una donna che sono legalmente e legittimamente sposati come marito e moglie".
In linea di principio , questo comandamento proibisce qualsiasi comportamento sessuale tra persone dello stesso sesso (intra-matrimoniale o extraconiugale).
Le violazioni della legge di castità legate all'omosessualità possono sfociare nella disciplina della chiesa (e di conseguenza nella scomunica, ndr).
I membri della chiesa che vivono attrazioni omosessuali, compresi quelli che si identificano come gay, lesbiche o bisessuali, possono rimanere in regola nella chiesa solo se si astengono dalle relazioni sessuali (al di fuori di quelle avute all’interno di un matrimonio con un individuo di sesso opposto).
Sebbene a nessuno, compresi coloro che vivono relazioni sessuali con persone dello stesso sesso, sia vietato partecipare ai servizi di culto della domenica nelle chiese mormoni, l'acquisizione e il mantenimento di un titolo di appartenenza alla chiesa e la possibilità di ricevere una raccomandazione per accedere al tempio dipendono dall'osservanza della legge del divieto di avere relazioni sessuali al di fuori di una relazione coniugale tra marito e moglie.
La Chiesa mormone ha partecipato ad una campagna contro il riconoscimento da parte del governo (USA, ndr) del matrimonio tra persone dello stesso sesso e la questione del matrimonio tra persone dello stesso sesso è stata una delle principali preoccupazioni politiche della "chiesa" dagli anni '90. Proposition 8 (in italiano: Proposizione 8) è il nome dato al referendum tenutosi in California il 4 novembre 2008 in cui si chiedeva l'abolizione del diritto al matrimonio tra persone dello stesso sesso, introdotto da una sentenza della Corte Suprema della California del 15 maggio 2008.
La proposizione chiedeva inoltre di inserire un emendamento nella costituzione della California per affermare che lo Stato riconosce come valido solo il matrimonio tra un uomo e una donna.
Gli studenti che si identificano come LBGTQIA + hanno una lunga storia documentata alla Brigham Young University (l’università di proprietà della chiesa mormone, ndr) e hanno sperimentato una serie di trattamenti da parte di altri studenti e amministratori scolastici nel corso dei decenni. La Brigham Young University (BYU) è la più grande università religiosa del Nord America ed è l'istituzione principale del sistema educativo della chiesa di Gesù Cristo dei Santi degli Ultimi Giorni. Storicamente, le esperienze per gli studenti della BYU che si identificano come LGBTQIA + includevano il divieto di iscrizione a causa delle loro attrazioni sessuali negli anni '60, con quasi l'80% degli studenti della BYU che si rifiutavano di vivere con una persona apertamente omosessuale in un sondaggio negli anni '90 e il divieto di “avere appuntamenti” negli anni 2000. Ad oggi (…) gli studenti BYU che si identificano come omosessuali sono a rischio di disciplina (e successiva espulsione) per comportamenti che violano il Codice d'onore, come possono essere appuntamenti omosessuali e gesti romanticamente intesi come abbracci e baci. Diverse organizzazioni per i diritti LGBT hanno criticato le politiche della BYU relative agli studenti gay e "The Princeton Review" ha regolarmente classificato la BYU come una delle scuole più ostili alla comunità LGBT negli Stati Uniti. (…)
Sotto il rettorato Oaks (attuale consigliere della Prima Presidenza mormone), all'università BYU fu implementato un sistema di sorveglianza e perquisizioni dei dormitori di studenti problematici, inclusi sospetti omosessuali. Ciò includeva dispositivi di registrazione elettronici che il capo della sicurezza della BYU Robert Kelshaw confermò che nel 1975 erano stati impiantati sugli studenti per raccogliere informazioni. In riferimento alla diffusa campagna di ricerca di omosessuali tra gli studenti della BYU, Oaks (attuale profeta, veggente e rivelatore mormone, ndr) dichiarò: "Due influenze che desideriamo escludere dalla comunità della BYU sono gli omosessuali attivi e i tossicodipendenti, e questi compiti sono quindi tra quelli che riguardano la nostra forza di sicurezza". Ronde della sicurezza della BYU alla ricerca di targhe degli studenti BYU nei parcheggi dei bar gay di Salt Lake City e falsi annunci di contatto furono inseriti in un giornale gay di Salt Lake City per irretire gli studenti gay con il conseguente arresto dell'ex studente della BYU David Chipman.
In generale le persone LGBT, in particolare i giovani, hanno un rischio più elevato di depressione, ansia e suicidio a causa dello “stress di minoranza” derivante da pregiudizi e stigmatizzazione sociale, rifiuto, omofobia interiorizzata. Alcuni individui e organizzazioni hanno collegato gli insegnamenti della chiesa contro l'omosessualità e il trattamento dei mormoni LGBT da parte di altri membri e leader ad un contributo ai suicidi mormoni LGBT.

Onestamente, sono stato ingenuo ad aspettarmi che questo fosse un posto in cui avrei sentito l'amore di Dio, sempre che ci sia davvero un amorevole Padre celeste là fuori. Non lo sento. Invece, provo rifiuto e paura in ogni angolo. Devo nascondere un pezzo fondamentale di me e provare a giocare a questo finto gioco di essere etero - andare ad appuntamenti con adorabili giovani donne che sarebbero delle grandi amiche, ma di cui non voglio essere il loro amante. Faccio tutto questo per mantenere l'illusione, solo per mantenere i miei amici, solo per mantenere una sorta di barriera protettiva intorno a me. Il Libro di Mormon, "scritto per i nostri giorni", riesce a evitare completamente l'omosessualità. Dio è dolorosamente silenzioso riguardo alla difficile situazione delle persone mormoni LGBT. Mi viene detto di tenermi afferrato alla verga di ferro, ma per quanto ancora? The “Affirmation website” ha riferito di oltre 30 vittime di suicidio mormoni LGBT tra il 1971 e il 2008 (...) Numerosi individui e organizzazioni hanno affermato che gli insegnamenti della chiesa contro l'omosessualità e il trattamento dei mormoni LGBT da parte di altri membri e dei leader hanno contribuito ai suicidi mormoni LGBT. Di seguito sono riportati alcuni suicidi segnalati dai media di individui LGBT di origine mormone, con l'anno della morte indicato tra parentesi. Carlyle Marsden (1976) - Il professore di musica BYU Marsden si suicidò due giorni dopo essere stato espulso per presunta attività omosessuale.
Anonimo (anni '80) - Uno studente gay della BYU si suicidò dopo alcuni mesi di matrimonio (eterosessuale, ndr) nel tempio, (matrimonio) incoraggiato dal suo presidente di palo Richard Cracroft, professore della BYU. Cracroft in seguito dichiarò in riferimento all'evento che "è vero, non molti di noi [dirigenti della chiesa] sanno come consigliare gli omosessuali".
Anonimo (1987) - Il pittore Randall Lake (che era gay e aveva sposato una donna in un tempio LDS prima di lasciare il matrimonio) produsse diversi ritratti di suicidio tra cui uno del suo fidanzato mormone che si era impiccato qualche giorno dopo essere stato ostracizzato quando lasciarono la chiesa.
Stuart Matis (2000) - Il 32enne Matis, un mormone gay attivo nella chiesa, si suicidò il 25 febbraio 2000 sui gradini di un edificio del centro di palo della chiesa in California. La sua morte avvenne nel pieno della lotta della Chiesa LDS per vietare il matrimonio omosessuale in California con la Proposition 22, nota anche come Knight's Initiative. Poco prima della sua morte scrisse una lettera di 12 pagine a suo cugino in cui affermava che quando sentì la chiesa chiedere ai membri di donare tempo e denaro a sostegno della Prop 22, "pianse per ore nella [sua] stanza" e sentiva che le posizioni della chiesa creavano un ambiente "ostile per i giovani mormoni gay". La lettera affermava inoltre che "i membri eterosessuali non hanno assolutamente idea di cosa significhi crescere come gay in questa chiesa .... Proprio prima della sua morte scrisse un messaggio affermando: "La chiesa non ha idea che ... ci sono sicuramente ragazzi e ragazze che sulle loro ginocchia implorano Dio di liberarli dal loro dolore. Odiano se stessi ... Dio non mi ha mai voluto etero. Spero che la mia morte possa essere un catalizzatore per qualcosa di buono".
D.J. Thompson (2000) - Due settimane dopo la morte di Stuart, un uomo mormone gay di 33 anni in Florida si suicidò dopo aver scritto una nota in cui si riferiva alla morte di Stuart. La nota affermava che la Proposizione 22 era "l'ultima goccia nella mia battaglia permanente per vedere la pace nel mondo"
Clay Whitmer (2000) - Tre settimane dopo la morte di Stuart, un altro mormone gay in California, coinvolto nella sua comunità ecclesiale, fu vittima di suicidio. Whitmer, che era diventato amico intimo di Matis mentre stavano svolgendo una missione mormone in Italia, aveva tentato il suicidio sei volte nello spazio di diversi anni, ma riuscì nell’intento al settimo tentativo dopo la morte di Matis.
Bryan Michael Egnew (2011) - Dopo che il 40enne Egnew confessò a sua moglie di essere gay, quest’ultima lasciò immediatamente la Carolina del Nord con i loro figli. La sua famiglia iniziò ad evitarlo e i leader locali scomunicarono nel giro di due settimane perché si rifiutò di denunciare il suo orientamento sessuale. Si suicidò alcune settimane dopo.
Jack Denton Reese (2012) - Reese, diciassettenne, proveniva da una piccola città nello Utah, dove oltre il 90% dei residenti era mormone. Si è suicidato nel 2012 dopo aver subito un grave bullismo fisico e verbale a scuola.
Harry Fisher (2016) - Fisher era uno studente di storia della BYU di 28 anni e “fece outing” su Facebook circa due mesi prima della sua morte, il 12 febbraio. Riferì di aver ascoltato la retorica anti-gay dalle persone intorno a lui e di aver lasciato le riunioni della chiesa piangendo nella sua macchina.

Anyways… So after I attempted to post each individual video on here sharing my knowledge I got slammed for spamming, which is fine. I get it.
So i’ve decided to make a single post giving as much details as I can come up with in the next 5 minutes with regards to sharing what I know. And also, to hopefully help some people out along the way! … worst case scenario you see something you like and try something new, even if its not “the best” or better yet. You actually sit back with a cup of tea and enjoy the content I’ve created. Because you never know, pigs might fly one day.
So lets get to it shall we -
The following paragraphs will have details to everything I’ve learned over the course of wow classic with regards to gold farming. Specifically the gold farming methods below are done by dungeon farming. All of the videos in the link to their respective playlist on my YouTube channel below, are all solo-able as a level 60 paladin.
Lets talk about the benefits of dungeon gold farming first:
  1. It’s uncontested, you have no competition inside there tagging your mobs. So all that saucy loot is yours!
  2. It’s do-able at your own pace, you don’t need to worry about respawn timers. And you can go afk if you like at any point.
  3. If you decide to bring a friend, they get some freaking insane XP!
  4. Bringing lower levels also has its benefits such as: faster run times = more gold p/h
The downsides:
  1. You’re limited to 5 runs per hour
  2. Wow classic is buggy as f*ck, some of these dungeons will have some/alot of mobs that run and evade for no apparent reason - this can be seen in Wailing Caverns and SM Lib for example.
  3. It can go horribly wrong and you can get owned by about 50 mobs at one time (unless you watch all my videos so you’re fully prepared :P )
  4. Sometimes, they’re just a nightmare to get to. E.G Ragefire Chasm (as an alliance player)
Gear & Talents:
If you know me, or have seen the videos about. You’ll know I’m holy, the build is as follows: 31/13/7 - Which I will link to a wow head talent calculator further down for you to see exactly which points I’ve gone with. The idea behind it is “the shockadin” and nope, I didn’t follow other guides on the spec, so if there is an alteration compared to other guides out there don’t worry. I took my already previous knowledge/what seemed to be good in from way back when and threw them up in that tree.
You see I went with the spec because its what I did in TBC days, overall its a good hybrid spec. giving you healing abilities for raids & giving a nice burst damage output for higher hp bosses in dungeons or if you find yourself in a tricky spot of rogue ganking, you can own them. Plus the protection talent points help with survivability. (yes I know TBC is completely different)
Why didn’t I go full balls deep in protection? because holy shield and blessing of sanctuary aren’t that big of a deal imo..

  1. Ragefire Chasm: 10 Gold Per Hour - 2 Pulls Total - 10 Minutes Per Run - Items Of Value? None in particular, linen cloth maybe. A horde mage would be better at this than an alliance paladin. Not to mention some of the troggs will evade when you get near the big boy demon dude in that middle area near the end (which sucks, watch the video to see the best place to aoe)
  2. Wailing Caverns: 30 Gold Per Hour - 2 Pulls Total (repeating the first 2 pulls is more optimal than doing the entire thing) - 10 Minutes Per Run - Items Of Value? Perfect Deviate Scales, Gloves of the Fang, BoE blues for twinks
  3. Deadmines: 20 Gold Per Hour - 3 Pulls Total - 15 Minutes Per Run - Items Of Value? The Defias Set (minus the chest) & the parrot pet, because its a parrot?
  4. Shadowfang Keep: 20 Gold Per Hour - 3 Pulls Total - 10 Minutes Per Run - Items Of Value? Shadowfang! Plus other saucy boe blues. Personally I love this one, real fun to do!
  5. Stockades: 20 Gold Per Hour (can go to 50) - 3 Pulls Total - 10 Minutes Per Run - Items Of Value? The odd boe blue, It’s not listed in atlas loot but I had some gloves drop before called Brawler Gloves. They’re worth about 10 gold
  6. Blackfathom Deeps: 10 Gold Per Hour - 3 Pulls Total - 30 Minutes Per Run - Items Of Value? Some good boe blues here, one staff in particular is worth around 100 gold, thats the Staff of the Blessed Seer. This is by far more suited to the horde players since their camp is like 2 seconds away >.>
  7. Gnomeregan: 20 Gold Per Hour - 5 Pulls Total - 20 Minutes Per Run - Items Of Value? a few boe blues drops here, specifically a pair of level 27 gloves, apparently they’re worth over 150gold at the time of writing this. This could have been the perfect gold farm but the mobs evade a lot and the item vendor price isn’t that great.
  8. Razorfen Kraul: 30 Gold Per Hour - 3 Pulls Total - 10 Minutes Per Run - Items Of Value? boe blues, specifically a level 26 dagger thats worth over 100 gold, its called Vendetta. This is a real good one to do, its not the best but it provides a nice alternative if you’re sick of other dungeons. Also a blue bow called ranger bow dropped here for me, not listed on atlas loot. Skinning is handy here also, we get a lot of bacon
The gold gained from all of the above is based off of pure vendor money, you can expect more if you be smart and sell things on the auction house. Such as the cloth you get, also get enchanting. You don’t need to level it up, you can disenchant anything in the game regardless of its level with level 1 enchanting… Something I only found out the other day and I could have kicked myself for it. The amount of gold I’ve probably missed out on during SM is unreal because of that!
All of these videos show a step by step method on how I personally do it. I go over a breakdown of the gold made per run or per hour. I also vendor everything in most of the videos giving you a 100% guaranteed gold gain, rather than unrealistic expectations from the auction house, although in some of the videos I do explain how you can make more by using that.
The best part of it is, you don’t have to do it my way. The videos are just a base guideline to show you whats worth it and what isn’t, I’ve basically done all the hard work for you. You just have to sit back, enjoy the content and decide if you want to give it a try!
Also, I’m not gonna lie. Any and all support from the reddit community will be hugely appreciated. I make these videos for people to enjoy and hopefully take something away from them. Despite my sometimes come across as rude remarks or salty-like comments (which by the way, don’t take offence. So the amarr DD device should have a yield of at least 59.4 teratons and its heavily implied that titans are capable of tanking DD devices.
Or on the other hand we can assume that reschard V poles are similar in size than earth then we would require up to 1.13×1025 joules thats like 2.7 petatons worth of energy thats like enough to kill all life on earth many times over which sounds consistent to what happened on reschard V.

Total volume = 110.6 cubic meters
Now if we use a depleted uranium projectile we can get an estimate of the kinetic energy carried by the projectile.

Well we dont know the speed of EVE projectiles although they seem to hit instantly their targets so im going to use 2 estimates

I love eve online and i like explossions and i like to make some math here and there when i have free time but im not really good at it anyway i tried to calc some eve related stuff i hope you like it and if there is something wrong please help me to fix it thanks o/.
Here i will include different calcs about eve weapons yield and other stuff regarding size and fleets numbers i hope you like it and if you have anything to include or correct it would be great!.

Basically during the disaster of reschard V a greater percentaje of lifeforms died over a considerably shorter period of time probably mostly due the blast instead of secondary long therm effects like on the K-T event.

Basically over 1/3 of reschard prime was escorched by the blast we know that earth continents have a total area of 149.085.205 km2 and thats like 25% of the total surface of the planet then we have reschard V due its size reschard V area should be 17203361371 km2 if we assume that the wateland relation on reschard prime is similar to earth then we get this number 4300840342 km2 and according to the article 1/3 of the land surface got scorched 1433613447km2 or 9.5 times the total land surface of earth basically had the DD device been detonated on an earth like planet and all of its surface would ve been scorched which actually seems consistent with a picture we have from reschard V after being bombarded. Now do a mental exercise and replace gallente prime with reschard V those firestorms are large enough to cover the entirety of earth.

** Amarr orbital bombardment** This part is just to show how pointless it would be to use ingame values to calc eve weapons yields. We know the radius of arzad II which is 2220 km we know that the planet used to posses an ocean continents and a breathable atmosphere and that arzad was bombed by an impreial bombarment fleet to the point of becoming a unhabitable ball of rockas you can see in the picture above. This happened in an unknown ammount of time but we know that the bombardment was started and finalized in the year 22497 So as a low end the bombardment took a year it probably took a smaller ammount of timse considering how in the short stories is more or less implied that it was under the spawn of days .
So lets say that as a low end that just 10% of arzads Surface was covered in wáter and that the small oceans on arzad had a profundity of 3.6 km (similar to average earth oceans profundity ) and that it took exaclty one year of nonstop fire to boil the oceans of arzad and they didint focued on the population centers or anything like that. And for numbers lets say that the amarr were so mad that they decided to use their biggest fleet shown which is the fleet of the throne worlds which has araund 4000 armaggedon battleships fitted with tachyon beam lasers since its mentioned that those were the weapon of choice for the bombardment . there are a ot of ifs yes but at the same time we are using the lowest ends to show how inchoerent are ingame figures ( gigajulz)

First lets calc the Surface of arzad II then we multiply it 3.6 times and then we divide it betwhen 10 since we are assuming that only 10% of the Surface is covered in wáter ( which is a low endi guess that a planet should be covered in more than the 10% of its Surface to have oceans, continents and such )
Surface of Arzad II = 4PI x 2220* 2 Volume of wáter on arzad prime = 4PI x 2220*2 x 3.6 x 0.10 volumen = 22295556 km3 of wáter now lets convert them to cm3 just to make the calcs easier for me
volumen = 22295556 km3 x 1e15cm3/ 1km3
volumen = 2.229e22 cm3 of wáter
now we know the ammount of enery required to vaporize 1cm3 of wáter which is 2300 joules i htink so we multiply the volumen and the ammount of energy to vaporize the oceans
So the ammount of enery required is 5.1267e 25 J now we divide this betwhen the ammount of ships, the number of turrets and the ammount of seconds in one year
energy output of fleet 5.1267e25j / 31536000 seconds
Energy output of the fleet = 1.6256659e18 joules / second
Now we divide it bewhen the number of ships and turets and multiply it by the rate of fire and we could get an stimate on the yield.
Low end yield = (1.6256659e18/4000 x 5) x 13
Low end yield = (1.6256659e18 / 20000) x 13
Low end yield per second = (1.6256659e18 / 20000) = 19.4 kilotons / sec for each turret
Low end yield = 1.0566828e+15j or 252 kilotons
Now if we used ingame units with the sam values we would get a lot smaller number

Sono centinaia le segnalazioni dell’associazione Uaar di intrusioni e sconfinamenti confessionali nella vita degli italiani: funzioni in orario di lavoro, celebrazioni obbligatorie per i militari e il “bollino di buon cattolico” in caso di affidamento e adozioni. E nella scuola, laica sulla carta, nessuna alternativa all’ora di religione

Sono piccoli gesti quotidiani, interferenze nella vita delle persone che passano quasi per scontate: la messa in orario di lavoro per società pubbliche e imprese private, cerimonie e picchetti obbligatori per gli uomini e le donne delle forze armate, la celebrazione annuale della municipalizzata capitolina Ama della Madonna della strada, “patrona presso Dio dei netturbini romani”.
Un lungo elenco di intrusioni che non risparmiano neppure i viaggi: sui voli charter con destinazioni sensibili come Fatima e Lourdes gli equipaggi sono costretti dalle comitive di pellegrini presenti a bordo a sorbirsi preghiere ad alta quota.
Anche fare il volontario non è esente da interferenze confessionali, se decidi di dedicare il tuo tempo in associazioni come l’Avis. Sconfinamenti che, a volte, possono prendere la forma di domande imbarazzanti: gli assistenti sociali incaricati dell’affido chiedono ad una coppia il battesimo obbligatorio per la bambina.

NESSUNA ALTERNATIVA ALL’ORA DI RELIGIONE
La scelta di non frequentare durante l’ora settimanale di religione non dovrebbe essere un problema, e neppure essere discriminante per chi decide di fare altro. Sono parole ripetute in leggi, sentenze della Corte costituzionale, circolari ministeriali, ma rimaste inapplicate. Negli istituti con il simbolo della Repubblica il diritto all’ora alternativa è spesso negato, o soggetto a limitazioni arbitrarie, con disagi per le famiglie e gli studenti.
Significativo il racconto di una madre con il proprio figlio iscritto in una scuola elementare del Ravennate: «Dall’inizio dell’anno ad oggi hanno fatto l’ora alternativa una sola volta. Troppo spesso l’insegnante che doveva seguirli è stata chiamata a fare supplenze e loro sono rimasti in classe a fare dei disegni, in fondo all’aula».
Le testimonianze dei genitori per la cosiddetta “ora alternativa”, che per legge dovrebbe avere pari dignità, è un cahier de doleance. «Ho deciso di non farne una battaglia, per non mettere in mezzo mia figlia - racconta una mamma - ma so per certo che l’ora alternativa non viene quasi mai rispettata. Certo, è stato molto peggio alla materna, quando mi accorsi che nonostante avessi chiesto l’esonero la bimba rimaneva a fare religione. Me ne sono accorta quando ho visto i disegni di madonnine con il bambinello e, sopra, Dio in aereo. Protestai, ma non abbastanza, consapevole di rinunciare a un mio diritto».
Tante storie fotocopia, come racconta Massimo, un padre di Ragusa: «Ho dovuto minacciare un’azione legale alla preside per fare in modo che mio figlio non fosse parcheggiato in una “classe parallela” e gli fosse garantita un’attività. I motivi del rifiuto erano imbarazzanti: non ci sono soldi e i pochi che abbiamo sono destinati al sostegno per i ragazzi disabili. Mi sembrò una cosa meschina. La preside stava cercando di addebitare a me la responsabilità di mettere a repentaglio altri servizi indispensabili e solo con le spalle al muro trovò una soluzione». Tanti genitori, sfiniti da questa situazione, per evitare problemi decidono di iscrivere i propri figli a l’ora di dottrina cattolica pagata dallo Stato.
SE VUOI ADOTTARE MEGLIO PRATICANTE
Anche per le delicate pratiche di adozione e affido il terreno è minato: nel colloquio con gli assistenti sociali viene chiesto espressamente come requisito necessario (anche se a livello informale) una solida educazione religiosa. Come è successo a una coppia alle prese con la possibilità di affido di una bambina: «Gli assistenti sociali hanno posto come condizione, per espresso desiderio della madre che l'ha abbandonata, l’impegno a battezzarla. Anche se il servizio dell’affido è laico, il gesto è stato valutato positivamente, perché ritengono che la bambina ne possa trarre giovamento dato che anche i quattro fratelli sono stati battezzati dalle nuove famiglie. Il motto “Dio, patria e famiglia” sotto le armi è considerato inappellabile. «Anni di scuole e cerimonie mi hanno mostrato le indigeribili ingerenze legalmente contemplate che la religione cattolica nelle sue svariate forme istituzionali sfoggia all’interno delle istituzioni, proprio quelle Repubblicane che io difendo», racconta un ufficiale di carriera. «La mia prima reazione, per quanto fermamente “non credente”, fu di comprensione che presto mutò in rancore quando il mio desiderio pur fermo di non partecipare alle cerimonie fu autoritariamente osteggiato e ignorato. E al primo accenno di lamentela, quando ho fatto notare che sulla mia scheda personale era scritto sotto la voce “religione” la parola “ateo”, la risposta era sempre la stessa: “È un ordine”».
LA MADONNA DEI NETTURBINI
Dalle caserme alla società a controllo statale o comunale il copione non cambia. Ecco il caso dell’Enav, la società del ministero dell’Economia incaricata della gestione del traffico aereo civile in Italia, un colosso con oltre quattromila dipendenti.
«In Enav in ogni periodo festivo c’è l’abitudine di organizzare funzioni religiose nella sala conferenze dove, col benestare della direzione, si riunisce buona parte del personale per assistere alle funzioni con conseguente perdita di ore lavorative e senza nessun obbligo di recupero. Fatto salvo il naturale diritto di credere in ciò che più si ritiene adatto da parte di ogni lavoratore, un’abitudine può essere considerata un’attività lecita e liberamente praticabile dalla direzione? È legittimo che in un ente che svolge servizio pubblico vengano organizzate tali cerimonie?», si chiede sconsolato questo anonimo dipendente.
Anche per la municipalizzata Ama, la società capitolina che si occupa di igiene urbana, al centro dello scandalo di Mafia Capitale, la linea da seguire è dettata da Oltretevere più che dal Comune.
Basta leggere questo documento, un atto d’amore per la fede cattolica: «Quello tra gli operatori Ama e la Madonna della strada è un rapporto di straordinaria devozione, consolidato progressivamente nel corso del Novecento e rimasto intenso fino ai nostri giorni. Un sentimento che ha trovato un suggello ufficiale nel 2003, quando con il decreto emesso dalla Congregazione per il Culto Divino veniva concesso di celebrare e venerare la Beata Vergine Maria con il titolo Madonna della strada, “patrona presso Dio dei netturbini romani”».
E anche la visita annuale di Papa Giovanni Paolo II alla statua di Maria (nello stabilimento aziendale di Rocca Cencia) e al presepe dei netturbini sotto Natale per ventiquattro anni di fila diventa la normalità. Da posto di lavoro a luogo di culto.
